The coffee is like a lousy restaurant's, not like what you go to a java place for. Felt like I was interrupting the person's daydreaming to have to make me a cup of coffee. Skip this place.

WHOA, this page needs some love. I moved back after spending 12 years in CA and my oh my do we have some coffee snobs in this small Iowa town. First of all, if you're in a hurry, make your own coffee at home, on your own perfect schedule. I am so tired of reading bad reviews all over local social media because someone decided to roll up their sleeves and ruin someone's yelp page. Boohoo. Cry us all an espresso river. So you had to wait a few minutes for your beverage. Give yourself an extra 15-20 minutes for coffee on the way to work. If the majority of the people coming through this location sound/act like the people on this page, it's no wonder the staff changes frequently. I visit this location (both drive-through/inside) at various hours almost daily. The entire staff is friendly and if you're not happy with your drink, they are happy to make it right. That is good customer service. Writing a bad review won't correct your drink. Too many people are quick to give negative feedback online in hopes of ruining small businesses, rather than contacting the people directly in the moment. SO with my rant out of the way, each time I stop in, the staff is slammed and catering to everyone's independent needs AND LET'S FACE IT, we're all a little particular when it comes to our random drink of choice. They're friendly, clean and willing to make coffee for locals who apparently feel they know more about the coffee business than anyone else. 5+ stars for this location. I enjoy stopping by, I love the staff, and my drinks are always awesome. Keep up the good work!

WOW--quite a few bad reviews here. Although they look like may have improved quite a bit. There aren't a lot of coffee shops in CB, at least as far as I know. This one is on Broadway and is quite busy. They have a drive thru and you can go in. I was greeted immediately and the service was prompt and attentive. For someone who likes extra shots, they are offering a free shot in your coffee. I had a mocha, light on the chocolate. It was great. They also had a variety of pastries (i think breakfast burritos too). I had an orange cranberry scone. It wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good. I say, give Scooters a second chance. I think they have improved.

Very nice service - poor skim latte! The drink making staff either needs to care more or go back to Barista training. The medium drink claimed to have 3 shots- but looked like and extra long pull of a double. Watery and poor taste. Again, nice staff- not so good latte.

While I enjoy having a Scooters in my end of town there are A LOT of things this location needs to work on! The new staff they have had there for the last 3 moths are horrible. They haven't caught on that people are in a hurry in the morning! And they aren't friendly at all. It took me over 15 minutes to get two brewed cups of coffee last week! Coffee lover beware!

Yup have to agree with the sweet bland taste, place has been there for sometime, is owned by a married couple I think who are a few years over puberty and or just out in left field.
